# How to reset the RiPROCESS interface

## If you can't find some of the panels of the RiPROCESS user interface, this article describes how to reset them

Sometimes elements of the RiPROCESS user interface cannot be located - a possible cause of this is they have have been undocked and have moved outside of the Windows desktop.

The RiPROCESS.ini file where the personalized settings of RiPROCESS (toolbars, window size/position etc.) are stored is located under the following file path:

`C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Riegl_LMS\RiPROCESS`

Please navigate to the above-mentioned path and to conduct the following:

- Close RiPROCESS
- Delete the RiPROCESS.ini file at the above-mentioned path
- Open RiPROCESS again and verify whether the View inspector will be displayed properly afterwards.
